Join us and partners Natural Basingstoke at Eastrop Park on Saturday 21st September to learn more about the River Loddon, it’s catchment partnership and some of the work we have going on in the area. We will also have activities for children including a river dipping table, crafts and a river themed scavenger hunt.  

Timetable of demos: 

11:00 – Water Quality Surveying Demonstration – learn about how to survey our rivers to look for any potential pollution 

13:00 – Riverfly / River dipping demonstration – learn about the creepy crawlies that live inside the river 

15:00 – Modular River Survey (MoRPh) demonstration – learn about how to measure the river’s physical habitats
